Oh Blog, I forgot about you

I am as bad at blogging as I am writing in my journal...sad to say. I have attempted both, the journal more for business and ideas in that realm and this blog for family and friends to follow. Unfortunately, I have only one follower and haven't posted a thought in a year...

The good news, since all of those former posts, I have started a business with Grayson, BuddyLove Showroom - www.buddyloveshowroom.com - and it is a huge success.

Currently, I am working at Citrix Online, the GoToMeeting people. It is a good job, but the most important thing that has come out of it is a new friendship with a guy by the name, Mike Solow. We have started to really talk about a project that is very exciting.. He also turned me on to a book called the 4 Hour Work Week. That is what has inspired me to start writing on this forum once again. I am determined to share my thoughts with whomever is interested, if for nothing, to get them out of my head. I am a thinker that drives himself crazy thinking. I just have to do...

I remember when I was interviewing for jobs, I literally interviewed my self for 4 hours while I was supposed to be sleeping, it drove me nuts, but when I went into the interview, I nailed it...the first time. Then my over thinking got me in trouble and I didn't land that job. But, I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason, and...that brings me to this point in time.

here is a goal...I would like to become very good at viral marketing, I am not 100% sure how I am going to get started on that path, but I think I have some ideas. The first is understand how to exploit the power of YouTube...I am not a huge youtubber, but I have to admit, every time I get a video forwarded along to me I check it out. The other thought on this is that some of the most popular videos out there are not originals, but remakes of something with a spin to it.

That brings me to another rambling thought...there really is nothing original in this world, and those that can take something that is good and make it better are assuring themselves of some success.

That feels better, got some thoughts on "virtual" paper and moving on.
